TheSilkPlug is a black-owned business founded by Avery . I am a 16 year old , based in New Orleans, Louisiana ! I have a passion for waves and durags . 

Well this is how it all got started .. a few years ago when everyone had that Afro like hair style , I decided I wanted to be different,  so I got into waving. 

It started off as just a hobby . However, as time went by I grew a passion for waving. I immediately got inspired by other well known waves . I started spending more and more money on hair products , brushes and of course more durags ! That brings to why I started this business , to share my waving experience with everyone.

 My primary goal is to offer high quality , stylish durags at an affordable prices.
